About SceneTalk

SceneTalk reports on the people, systems and decisions that shape entertainment: production, distribution, representation, publicity, rights, live work and internet culture. The publication is for readers who enjoy popular culture but do not confuse access with understanding.

What we cover

Our desks cover celebrity, movies and television, music, streaming, pop culture and the viral moments that move between them. We look for the mechanics behind a release, a public pivot or an audience reaction: who made the decision, what incentives were involved, and what changes next.

How we are funded

SceneTalk is funded through illustrative reader support, sponsorships clearly marked as such, and limited advertising. Commercial partners do not receive advance review of editorial coverage. Sponsorship does not determine whether we report on a company, person or category.

Editorial independence

Our editorial staff makes coverage decisions independently. We disclose material conflicts when relevant, separate commercial and editorial teams, and publish corrections openly. Read the editorial policy or meet the SceneTalk team.
